Soft, sweet, ooey, gooey, sugary, candied, creamy, toothsome, delicious, cloying, saccharine, luscious, lush, tempting FUDGE! There’s a whole lotta chemistry to fudge. It’s more complicated than cooking meth (from what the Lady Biest gleaned from watching people cook meth on Breaking Bad, anyway). Forming a fondant is no picnic, fudge-slingers have to bust a nut to keep vibrations and seed crystals from causing too rapid a crystallization. Controlling the crystallization of the supersaturated sugar solution is the key to smooth fudge. Suck on that.
Now roll me in fudge and throw me to the firefighters.
Fudge in romance: Promise Me Tomorrow by Leigh Micheals. (Note, the ninjas have not personally verified the awesomeness of the ‘fudge scene’ in this novel.)
